Please note that all documents must be received in completion no less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
Once the documents have been received in completion, you will receive an email with a Patient Flyer, which details the steps to check in for your appointment.
As a result of the restrictions necessary due COVID-19, Dr. Markey is not able to conduct appointments in person at his office until further notice. Dr. Markey will still be conducting all treatment sessions through Telehealth, with the HIPAA compliant version of Zoom. This service is also offered to any new patients interested in treatment services. In order to request services, please send a request through this website, through Psychology Today (Click Here) or feel free to call the office at (215) 348-2757. This phone continues to be answered during regular business hours from 9am to 5pm. Dr. Markey will remain on call after hours and the office voicemail will be checked during normal business hours as well.

Dr. Markey continues to conduct forensic evaluations as well. If you have a referral through the legal or behavioral health systems, please conduct Dr. Markey’s office directly to discuss the possible options for conducting forensic services.

Dr. Markey obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from East Carolina University and began his behavioral health career in Hawaii, where he obtained his Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the American School of Professional Psychology.
While living in Hawaii, Dr. Markey worked full time as an Addictions Counselor in a residential substance abuse treatment facility for two years. A few years later, Dr. Markey obtained his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in California. While living in California, Dr. Markey held employment as an Addictions Counselor in a residential drug and alcohol treatment center, and additionally worked as a Therapist with traumatized foster care children. Dr. Markey then obtained his Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in California and moved to Pennsylvania to complete his pre and post doctoral supervision training. Dr. Markey has since become a Licensed Clinical Psychologist in New Jersey and Pennsylvania in addition to a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor in Delaware and Pennsylvania. During Dr. Markey's employment after achieving his Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology, he has held positions as Clinical Director, Regional Director and Director of Correctional Mental Health Services. Dr. Markey opened his private Forensic Psychology practice in Doylestown, PA in November 2015.
